Elwyn Adult Behavioral Health Services seeks a Recovery Support Worker (RSW) to build relationships with individuals and help define steps to reach personal goals. Salary offered is up to $21/hour with a $1,000 sign-on bonus.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED preferred.
• One year full-time experience in providing direct care service to mentally ill consumers preferred.
• Preference for multilingual candidates who meet cultural and linguistic needs.
• Must possess a valid driver's license in state of residence with at least two years driving experience and clean record.

Responsibilities

• Reviews clinical plans and supports with the team to meet identified goals.
• Assists individuals in identifying and pursuing recovery goals across areas like mental health, daily living, relationships, and transportation.
• Demonstrates knowledge of medications and follows state guidelines under supervision.
• organizes and facilitates wellness, social, and community activities outside the home.
• Provides or coordinates transportation support to engage in recovery resources.
• Maintains a recovery-based environment that supports hope and empowerment.
• Uses recovery tools and self-care techniques with individuals as appropriate.
• Provides face-to-face crisis intervention to manage risk and safety.
