Job summary

TPC Wellness in Ironton, OH is seeking a Recovery Support Specialist (part-time or full-time). The role combines resident supervision, documentation, transportation, admissions/discharges support, behavioral coaching, and compliance monitoring.

Responsibilities include monitoring safety, building relationships, completing counts, writing reports, assisting with admissions, conducting investigations, collecting urine screens, transporting residents, and participating in trainings.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Valid driver's license.
• Active CDCA certification, or ability to obtain within 30 days of hire (TPC Wellness will assist).
• Ability to apply CBT principles and recovery-focused practices.

Responsibilities

• Monitor resident safety, security, and accountability.
• Build positive relationships with residents.
• Complete resident counts and facility checks.
• Write incident reports, shift reports, and daily logs.
• Assist with admissions, discharges, and resident orientation.
• Conduct investigations and communicate findings.
• Collect urine drug screens.
• Transport residents to appointments, work sites, and court appearances.
• Reinforce positive behaviors and address behavioral concerns.
• Participate in staff meetings, debriefings, and training.
