Job summary

TPC Wellness in Jackson, OH is seeking a Recovery Support Specialist to help maintain a safe, structured environment for residents in recovery. Responsibilities span supervision, documentation, admissions/discharges support, and behavioral coaching.

This role offers flexible hours as Part-Time or Full-Time, with opportunities for growth within a residential treatment setting focused on recovery.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Valid driver's license required.
• Active CDCA certification or ability to obtain within 30 days; assistance provided.
• Ability to apply CBT principles and recovery-focused practices.

Responsibilities

• Monitor resident safety, security, and accountability.
• Build positive relationships with residents.
• Complete resident counts and facility checks.
• Write incident, shift, and daily logs.
• Assist with admissions, discharges, and orientation.
• Conduct investigations and communicate findings.
• Collect urine drug screens.
• Monitor medication distribution.
• Transport residents to appointments and court appearances.
• Reinforce positive behaviors and address issues.
• Participate in staff meetings and trainings.
