Job summary

Cumberland Heights Foundation, Inc. in Nashville is seeking a Clinical Associate to support counseling staff by providing direct and indirect services, helping create a safe, therapeutic milieu and assisting patients in their treatment and recovery.

You will participate in patient assessments, coordinate 12 Step activities, assist with transportation, and document in the electronic patient record, while contributing to team meetings and quality initiatives.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED is required; a Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• One year experience in addictions treatment is preferred.
• CPRS certification is preferred but not required.
• Valid Tennessee Driver’s License preferred.
• Strong written and verbal communication in English.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.

Responsibilities

• Assist counseling staff with assessment and data collection.
• Provide addiction and recovery psycho-education to individuals, groups, and families.
• Document clinical information into the electronic patient record.
• Maintain a safe and therapeutic milieu and coordinate patient activities.
• Assist in transporting patients when needed.
