TASC in Chicago, IL is seeking a full-time Recovery Advocate Support to assist individuals on their recovery journeys by coordinating services, connecting with public agencies, and linking to community resources.

Ideal candidates have a high school diploma, personal recovery experience, a commitment to recovery, proficiency with Microsoft Office, the ability to work with diverse populations, and CRSS certification within a year.

Qualificações

• Must have high school diploma or equivalent.
• Must have lived recovery experience or be in recovery.
• Must understand and respect an individual’s path to recovery.
• Commitment to the recovery community.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
• Ability to work with a diverse population.
• Within one year of hire, obtain CRSS certification.
• Knowledge of community support resources and government/nonprofit agencies.
• Valid driver’s license and access to a personal vehicle.

Responsabilidades

• Assist individuals in achieving recovery goals through direct services and coordination with behavioral health, public agencies, and community resources.
• Help clients identify interests, goals, strengths, and recovery paths; coordinate programs and services.
• Monitor progress toward goals and adjust plans as needed.
• Re-engage clients into recovery services when needed.
• Ensure documentation and service hour goals meet regulatory standards.
• Support client transition from plan to self-directed recovery.
• Provide referrals for identified needs and crisis intervention.
• Research and connect with community resources and maintain a support services database.
• Collaborate with partners to coordinate client services.
• Assist with specimen collection as needed and maintain chain-of-custody protocols.

Formação

High school diploma or equivalent

CRSS certification within 1 year
