Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Self-identify as a current or former recipient of mental health or substance use services, or as someone in recovery.
• Complete a state-approved Peer Specialist training program and pass certification.
• Missouri Peer Specialist certification requirements must be met.
• Knowledge of case management and recovery-oriented approaches.
