Job summary

Westbrook Health Services, Inc. seeks a Peer Recovery Support Specialist (PRSS) to provide peer support and participate as a Behavioral Health Technician, leading recovery-oriented group sessions and coordinating care with clients and staff.

Candidates must have PRSS certification, strong communication, and the ability to work in a team; two+ years in substance use or mental health recovery preferred; high school diploma/GED required.

Qualifications

• Must have PRSS Certification.
• High school diploma or GED required.
• Two or more years of experience in substance use or mental health recovery preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide peer support services to clients in recovery and facilitate groups.
• Assist consumers in accessing needed services through referrals and advocacy.
• Provide crisis assistance as needed and support admissions/discharges.
• Maintain confidentiality and comply with HIPAA regulations.
• Collaborate with staff to deliver recovery-oriented services.
