Job summary

Telecare is seeking a part-time Recovery Specialist II – Mental Health 502 at the Sarpy Recovery Center in Bellevue, NE. You will provide direct and indirect care in line with individual service plans and Medicaid standards, helping clients live more independently.

Shifts are 3:00pm–11:30pm with pay range $15.54–$17.14 per hour. A high school diploma or GED and experience in mental health are required; CNA certification is acceptable. You drive clients when needed.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED and two years of experience in a psychiatric mental health setting, or BA/BS with one year in mental health.
• Knowledge of basic nursing skills and mental/physical health terms.
• CNA certification acceptable documentation of nursing skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct and indirect care according to individual service plans and Medicaid standards.
• Assist clients with daily living activities and health needs.
• Advocate for client rights and coordinate with the care team.

What You Will Do to Change Lives

The Recovery Specialist II provides care that responds to the physical and psychological needs of members served. The Recovery Specialist II provides direct and indirect services according to individual service plans and Medicaid standards.

Shifts Available:

3:00pm-11:30pm – Days vary as needed

Expected starting wage range is $15.54 - $17.14.

Telecare applies geographic differentials to its pay ranges. The pay range assigned to this role will be based on the geographic location from which the role is performed. Starting pay is commensurate with relevant experience above the minimum requirements.

What You Bring to the Table (Must Have)

• High school diploma or G.E.D and two (2) years of experience in a psychiatric mental health setting or BA/BS with one (1) year experience in mental health setting
• Knowledge of basic nursing skills and interventions, as well as mental and physical health conditions and terminologies
• Certification as a CNA or its equivalent is acceptable documentation of nursing skills knowledge
• Proficient understanding of client advocacy and client rights as defined in Title 17 and Title 9
• Valid and current driver’s license, and personal vehicle insurance with your name listed as a driver.
• Willingness to use the company vehicle to drive clients to appointments and groups, etc.
