Central Valley Recovery Services is seeking a dedicated program assistant to support clients, staff and the Program Coordinator in daily duties. You will help with intake, assessments, progress notes, and discharge procedures while upholding strict confidentiality and safety standards.

Applicants should be familiar with DHCS regulations, HIPAA, and counselor certification processes. The role includes supervising interns and volunteers, coordinating referrals, and documenting services in the EMR

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Completion of Counselor Certification education; Additional college level work preferred.
• Current DHCS SUDS approved counselor Certification required, keeping current with renewal requirements.

Responsabilités

• Assist clients, volunteers and Program Coordinator in program duties and operations.
• Maintain confidentiality of records and individuals in program per CFR 42, part 2 and HIPAA CFR 45.
• Facilitate recovery groups using evidence-based approaches (motivational interviewing, CBT, trauma-informed counseling).
• Perform intake, assessments, progress notes, recovery planning and discharge procedures per DHCS regulations.
• Supervise interns/volunteers and coordinate referrals and transportation; document services in EMR.
