Qualifications

• Requires a high school diploma or GED and two years in a psychiatric mental health setting.
• Knowledge of basic nursing skills and mental/physical health conditions.
• Certification as a CNA or equivalent acceptable.
• Proficient understanding of client advocacy and client rights as defined in Title 17 and Title 9.
• Must be at least 18 years old.
• CPR, First Aid, and CPI certifications required at employment or before direct client care.

Responsibilities

• Provide care per individual service plans and Medicaid standards.
• Respond to physical and psychological needs of members served.
• Deliver direct and indirect services as assigned.
• May involve transportation of clients using company vehicle.
