High Point & Affiliated Organizations in Brockton, MA, is seeking a Recovery Specialist for the Brockton Addiction Treatment Center, ATS. This part-time role offers Friday and Saturday or Sunday and Monday shifts.

Candidates should have knowledge of substance use disorders and mental health conditions, maintain confidentiality and professional boundaries, and monitor patients with hourly checks, escorts to meals and breaks, and participate in required trainings.

Education: High School diploma or equivalent (GED)
Pay range: $21 - $26 per hour with differentials depending on shifts
Status: Part Time; Friday and Saturday or Sunday and Monday

High Point & Affiliated Organizations is a health and human service agency whose mission is to treat and prevent substance use disorders and mental illness. High Point has programs located throughout southeastern Massachusetts offering a full continuum of care for substance use and mental health treatment, including inpatient, outpatient, residential, and community-based services. Programs and services also assist survivors of abuse, violence, and families experiencing homelessness. High Point believes that everyone has inherent goodness, worth, and dignity. Recovery Specialist Duties & Responsibilities

• Applicants should have knowledge of substance use disorders & mental health conditions
• Ability to maintain confidentiality, professionalism, & boundaries
• Complete property searches, monitor clients while maintaining a therapeutic, safe, & calm unit
• Observation & accounting of patients at all times insuring safety (hourly checks w/ documentation)
• Escorting patients to meals & fresh air breaks
• Attends required meetings & mandatory trainings

Recovery Specialist Qualifications

• Minimum of a high school diploma or equivalent GED
