Job summary

Burrell Behavioral Health in Springfield, MO seeks a Clinical Supervisor for Recovery Services to mentor clinicians delivering evidence-based treatments for substance use and mental health. You will guide clinical staff, ensure quality of care, and collaborate with management to advance program innovations.

The role requires a Master’s in a relevant field, Missouri LPC license with 2+ years post supervision, and the ability to supervise provisionally licensed counselors within 12 months.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in clinical mental health, psychology, or counseling.
• Missouri license as Professional Counselor with 2+ years post supervision experience.
• Able to obtain Missouri Board supervision approval within 12 months for provisionally licensed counselors.
• Able to obtain Missouri Credentialing Board approval to supervise MAADC I/II counselors.

Responsibilities

• Provide practical clinical oversight to assigned clinicians to meet treatment goals.
• Access emergency services to respond to emotional crises.
• Manage data collection, program evaluation, and contract maintenance.
• Participate in self and team evaluations per Burrell policies.
• Oversee evidence-based programming, assessments, and treatment planning.
• Supervise clinical staff, Peer Support Specialists, and Community Support Specialists.
• Arrange staff training in assessment, treatment planning, and client engagement.
• Monitor level of care appropriateness and treatment intensity.
• Attend group supervision meetings and liaise between admin and clinical teams.
