Job summary

Burrell Behavioral Health in Springfield, MO seeks a Clinical Supervisor for Recovery Services. You will mentor a team of clinicians delivering evidence-based treatment to individuals recovering from substance use disorders, applying your clinical mental health expertise and leadership to improve client outcomes.

The role includes supervision of staff, data collection, program evaluation, QA coordination, and collaboration with management to shape services.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health, Psychology, Counseling, or related field.
• Licensed in Missouri as a Professional Counselor with at least 2 years post supervision experience.
• Willing to obtain state-approved supervision credentials within 12 months.
• Substance use disorder treatment experience required.

Responsibilities

• Provide clinical oversight to assigned team and supervise staff.
• Access emergency services for urgent client crises.
• Support data collection, program evaluation, and contract maintenance.
• Lead QA and utilize review procedures in daily operations.
• Develop and oversee evidence-based programming and treatment planning.
• Provide supervision to clinicians, Peer Support Specialists, and CSS.
• Coordinate staff training on assessment and treatment planning.
• Monitor level-of-care decisions and treatment intensity.
• Participate in group supervision and liaise between admin and clinical team.
• Ensure timely, accurate clinical documentation and productivity reports.
