Job summary

CVTC is seeking a compassionate Recovery Services Case Manager in Alaska to coordinate referrals, transportation, home visits, and recovery support with community partners. A strong advocate who can build trusting relationships will help participants access resources and achieve lasting recovery.

The ideal candidate has 1–2 years in case management or related fields, a related Bachelor’s degree, and proficiency with Microsoft Office and case management systems.

Qualifications

• 1 to 2 years of case management, behavioral health, social services, recovery support, or related experience is required.
• Bachelor's degree in Social Work, Behavioral Health, Human Services, or a related field preferred; equivalent combination of education and one to two additional years of relevant experience may be substituted.
• Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to build trusting relationships and work collaboratively with individuals from diverse backgrounds.
• Strong organizational, time management, analytical, and problem-solving skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills and attention to detail.

1 to 2 years of case management, behavioral health, social services, recovery support, or related experience is required with 6-12 months of supervision experience preferred.

Bachelor's degree in Social Work, Behavioral Health, Human Services, or a related field preferred; equivalent combination of education and one to two additional years of relevant experience may be substituted.

Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to build trusting relationships and work collaboratively with individuals from diverse backgrounds.

Strong organizational, time management, analytical, and problem-solving skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.

Excellent verbal and written communication skills and attention to detail.

Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, team-oriented, and occasionally high-stress environment.

Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and the ability to learn new software and case management systems.

Certificates and Licenses:

A valid Alaska Driver’s license and the ability to be insured on CVTC’s vehicle insurance policy is a requirement of this position. CDC I certification preferred, or willingness to obtain upon hire.

Pre-Employment Drug Screening and Background Check:

This position requires you to complete and pass a pre-employment state and federal background check and drug screening as a condition of employment. This position is subject to random drug testing.
