Planned Parenthood South Atlantic is seeking a Recovery Room Nurse in North Carolina. The role supports patients before and after surgical procedures, working closely with physicians to ensure safe recovery and adherence to PPSAT and PPFA policies.
You will provide non-judgmental patient education on birth control methods, abortion options, STI/HIV, and safer sex. The position requires an RN license, ACLS certification, and experience in recovery care.

The PPSAT Recovery Room Nurse provides essential care to patients before and after surgical procedures. The Recovery Room Nurse works closely with the Physician and assists them during surgical procedures.They ensure that the health center teams provide family planning and abortion services in accordance with PPSAT and PPFA polices, protocols, and procedures.

Full time position working 30 to 34 hours per week.
Monday: 9:00 AM - 5:00 PM (Remote)
Tuesday: 9:00 AM - 5:00 PM
Wednesday: 10:00 AM - 5:00 PM
Thursday: 9:00 AM - 5:00 PM (Remote)
Friday: 7:30 AM - 3:00 PM
Please note that work schedule reflects the clinic schedule, and actual hours worked may vary due to day-to-day operations. All staff are expected to remain at the health center until all patients are checked out, documentation iscompleted,and the health center is cleaned.
The pay range for this position is$35.00 to $43.40per hour. If working on a Saturday, you will receive a differential of an additional $7.00 per hour. Starting offers are determined by both the candidate’s experience and internal equity within the pay grade.PPSAT’s compensation philosophy is based in equity and transparency.Built from data driven compensation studies, our positions are placed within a developed pay grade.
