Prisma Health is seeking a compassionate Unit Secretary to be cross-trained for clerical and clinical support in the Recovery Room at Blount Memorial Hospital. Under RN supervision, you will provide excellent service, monitor supplies, and assist with patient care activities in a patient-centered environment.

The role requires completing a nursing assistant class or Tennessee CNA certification, no prior experience required, and a daytime schedule.

Qualifikationen

• Education: Completion of a nursing assistant class.
• Experience: No experience required.
• In lieu of education: may accept current Tennessee CNA certification.
• Cross-training to perform Unit Secretary duties and other clinical support roles.

• Performs effective customer service skills, including assisting patients and visitors with kindness and professionalism.
• Manages the organization and inventory of supplies in collaboration with unit staff.
• Performs general reception and clerical duties at the nurse’s station and provides administrative support as needed.
• Coordinates maintenance of a safe, clean, and functional environment in accordance with regulatory standards.
• Performs duties on a nursing unit as PCT/NST/CNA per job functions.
