Job summary

New Broadview Manor on Staten Island seeks a compassionate Recreation and CRPA Program Supervisor to plan engaging activities, supervise Peer Advocates/CRPAs, and coordinate with care teams. The role emphasizes recovery-focused programming, resident engagement, and community partnerships.

You will lead a team to develop meaningful experiences, address resident needs, and ensure documentation and program quality align with the facility’s mission and standards.

Qualifications

• Experience planning recreational activities, programs, trips, art projects, or resident engagement initiatives.
• Supervisory or team lead experience.
• Experience in recovery, substance use support, or resident engagement settings.
• Experience with older adults or mobility-limited populations is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Plan and oversee recreation and recovery-focused programs, activities, trips, and engagement opportunities.
• Develop relationships with community organizations to expand programming.
• Supervise Peer Advocates/CRPAs and provide day-to-day guidance.
• Foster a positive, recovery-oriented environment and encourage participation.
• Coordinate with clinical, administrative, and facility teams to support residents.
