Job summary

New Broadview Manor in Staten Island, NY is seeking a Certified Recovery Peer Advocate (CRPA/CRPA-P) to join our team. Your lived recovery experience will guide residents and inspire others on their recovery journey.

You will provide one-on-one peer support, help develop individualized recovery goals, collaborate with nursing, social work, and care teams, advocate for resident needs, and maintain accurate documentation. This is an on-site role with The W Group.

Qualifications

• Certified as a CRPA or CRPA-P in New York State.
• Lived experience with substance use and on sustained recovery.
• Genuine passion for supporting others in their recovery journey.

Responsibilities

• Provide one-on-one peer support to residents navigating recovery.
• Use personal recovery experience to guide, motivate, and empower others.
• Assist residents in developing individualized recovery goals and accessing resources.
• Collaborate with nursing, social work, and care teams for well-rounded support.
• Advocate for resident needs and promote recovery-oriented thinking.
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation of services provided.
