Job summary

The Second Wind, Inc. is seeking a compassionate Recreation and CRPA Program Supervisor to plan meaningful programs, activities, trips, art projects, and resident engagement opportunities while supervising Peer Advocates/CRPAs.

You will help coordinate wellness activities and recovery-focused events for residents in a supportive team environment. You will lead peer staff, collaborate with care teams, ensure documentation is completed, and help grow a recovery-centered recreation program within

Qualifications

• Experience planning recreational activities and resident engagement initiatives.
• Prior supervisory or staff coordination experience.
• Experience with recovery, substance use support, or related settings.
• Experience with older adults or mobility-limited populations.
• Strong communication, leadership, and organizational skills.
• Compassionate, patient, and able to motivate residents and staff.
• Proficient with basic computer tasks and electronic documentation.
• Bilingual in Spanish and English is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Plan, coordinate, and oversee recreation and recovery-focused programs, activities, trips, art projects, groups, and resident engagement opportunities.
• Develop relationships with community organizations and venues to expand programming.
• Supervise Peer Advocates/CRPAs in day-to-day resident work.
• Create a positive, recovery-oriented environment encouraging participation and growth.
• Coordinate programming with clinical, administrative, and facility teams.
• Provide guidance and accountability to the peer support team.
• Monitor attendance, participation, and engagement in programs.
• Ensure timely, accurate documentation by Peer Advocates/CRPAs.
• Assist with onboarding, training, and mentoring for new staff.
• Identify new ideas to increase resident participation in recovery services.
• Address resident concerns professionally and with recovery focus.
• Maintain professional boundaries and policy compliance.
• Communicate updates and program needs to leadership.
