Job summary

Ampact's Recovery Corps program in Minnesota is seeking a Recovery Project Coordinator to support local organizations addressing the opioid crisis. As an AmeriCorps member, you’ll engage communities, coordinate projects, mobilize volunteers, and help expand outreach and services.

You’ll receive training, ongoing professional development, and a biweekly stipend while contributing to meaningful work that strengthens recovery efforts across sites.

Qualifications

• Dependable with a track record of good attendance.
• Able to understand and follow instructions.
• Able to maintain a service schedule per agreed hours.
• Proficient in basic computer tasks (email, online navigation).
• Fluent in English (speaking, reading, writing).
• 18+ with a HS diploma or equivalent.
• Citizen, national, or lawful permanent resident of the United States.
• Able to successfully complete a background check.

Responsibilities

• Support projects such as facilitating research and data collection.
• Lead focus groups.
• Advance health campaigns and mobilize volunteers.
• Create education campaigns and train on pathways to recovery.
• Commit to growth through training and professional development.
• Share experience with the community.
