Job summary

Ampact’s Recovery Corps is seeking a Recovery Project Coordinator to help communities address the opioid crisis. You’ll work with local nonprofit organizations or public agencies, focusing on community engagement, data collection, coordination, volunteer mobilization, and workforce development.

The role includes training, support for service-site goals, and opportunities to share experiences with the community. The program runs for the 2026–27 year with a focus on growth and impact.

Qualifications

• Dependable with a history of good attendance.
• Able to understand and follow instructions.
• Able to set a pace and maintain a service schedule based on hours commitment.
• Proficient in basic computer skills (email and online navigation).
• Fluent in English (speaking, reading, and writing).
• 18+ years old with HS diploma or equivalent.
• Able to complete a background check successfully.

Responsibilities

• Support projects such as data collection and research.
• Lead focus groups.
• Advance health campaigns and mobilize volunteers.
• Create education campaigns and provide training on recovery pathways.
• Commit to personal growth through training and professional development.
• Share experiences with the community.
