Job summary

Recovery Corps is hosted by Ampact and is recruiting a Recovery Project Coordinator to support local organizations addressing the opioid crisis. The role focuses on community engagement, data collection, volunteer mobilization, and workforce development within AmeriCorps programs.

You will work in a nonprofit/public agency setting, with training and growth opportunities, and a competitive AmeriCorps stipend. Roles begin Jan 2027 and run through Nov 2027.

Qualifications

• Dependable with a history of good attendance.
• Able to understand and follow instructions.
• Able to set a pace and maintain a service schedule, depending on hours commitment.
• Proficient in basic computer skills (like email and navigating online).
• Fluent in English for speaking, reading, and writing.
• 18 years of age or older with a high school diploma or equivalent.
• A citizen, national, or lawful permanent resident of the United States.
• Able to successfully complete a background check.

• Support projects such as: Facilitating research and data collection, Leading focus groups, Advancing health campaigns, Mobilizing volunteers, Creating education campaigns, Conducting training on pathways to recovery.
