Job summary

Community Bridges, Inc. (CBI) seeks a Peer Support Specialist to assist clients in PCMH/OTP Community-Based Services. This role focuses on one-on-one support, problem-solving, and promoting recovery, with emphasis on normalization and reintegration into daily life.

The PSS will apply assertive engagement, harm reduction, and peer support to engage members in both community and clinical settings, fostering a safe recovery environment for clients.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Minimum of six months' experience in Behavioral Health and/or Substance Abuse field required.
• Minimum of six months of recovery from substance use and/or mental health disorders required.

Responsibilities

• Provide one-on-one peer support to clients in community and PCMH/OTP settings.
• Promote recovery, harm reduction, and reintegration into the community.
• Engage clients using assertive engagement and recovery-oriented practices.

Skills

Highschool diploma/GED

Behavioral Health experience

CPSS certification target

AZ Driver's License
