Job summary

Pathways Inc. is seeking a full-time Peer Support Specialist with supervisory responsibilities to provide peer support services, advocate for recovery, and build community connections.

The role includes managing the TAYLRD Drop-In Center and supervising staff, ensuring compliance with Kentucky regulations. Qualified candidates will have PSS certification, a high school diploma or GED, and DBHDID 30-hour PSS training.

Qualifications

• At least one year of managerial or supervisory experience.
• Lived experience with substance use disorder and/or mental health, able to work with that population.
• Qualifying experience as required by PSS regulations.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Flexibility and adaptability to change.
• Ability to provide services consistent with Kentucky regulations and Pathways policies.

Responsibilities

• Provide Peer Support Services by sharing lived experience, advocating for those in recovery, building skills, and facilitating community connections.
• Manage and oversee the TAYLRD Drop-In Center during operational hours.
• Provide direct supervision to other TAYLRD staff.
• Conduct outreach and collaborate across systems to strengthen services.
• Adhere to Pathways policies and 908 KAR 2:220 regulations.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
