Job summary

Navos Behavioral Health, part of MultiCare’s Behavioral Health Network, seeks a Peer Specialist- Peer Bridger to help individuals transition from inpatient care to the community. You will provide peer support, guidance and mentorship to promote recovery and engagement in services.

Responsibilities include counseling, symptom management education, and collaboration with a diverse team to support safety and holistic well-being in both office and community settings.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Active CPSS certification required for new hires after 11/01/2025.
• ACCR credential must be applied for within 30 days of hire.
• CPSS certification must be obtained for current employees within 1 year of hire.
• BLS Certification and First Aid within 30 days of hire.
• Experience as a consumer of mental health services preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist clients in regaining control and success in life (housing, education, employment).
• Provide peer counseling and support to validate experiences and encourage participation in care.
• Serve as a mentor to promote hope and empowerment.
• Provide clinical perspectives on patient experiences to the team.
• Deliver direct clinical services to patients in office and community settings.
• Encourage self-help programs and consumer advocacy.
