Job summary

The Second Wind, Inc. is seeking a Certified Recovery Peer Advocate (CRPA/CRPA-P) to provide one-on-one support to individuals navigating recovery in New York. Your lived recovery experience will guide and motivate clients toward personalized goals and access to resources.

You will collaborate with clinical teams to deliver well-rounded, recovery-focused care and maintain timely documentation of services provided while promoting empowerment and hope for each client.

Qualifications

• Certified as a CRPA or CRPA-P in New York State.
• Lived experience with substance use and currently in sustained recovery.
• Genuine passion for supporting others in their recovery journey.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team.

Responsibilities

• Provide one-on-one peer support to individuals navigating recovery.
• Use your personal recovery experience to guide, motivate, and empower others.
• Assist clients in developing individualized recovery goals and accessing needed resources.
• Collaborate with clinical and care teams to ensure well-rounded support.
• Advocate for client needs and promote recovery-oriented thinking.
