Regional Economic Community Action Program Inc (RECAP) in New York is seeking a Certified Peer Recovery Advocate to support individuals in recovery by leveraging lived experience and non-clinical peer services. Qualifications

Certified Peer Recovery Advocate credential is required.
Personal experience with substance use recovery and commitment to helping others.
Valid New York State driver’s license issued.
Ability to maintain confidentiality and professional boundaries.
Strong communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

Engage individuals in recovery services and connect them to community resources.
Provide non-clinical peer support and guidance aligned with recovery plans.
Assist with treatment engagement, discharge planning, and transition navigation.
Collaborate with staff and community partners to ensure continuity of services.
Adhere to confidentiality, HIPAA/42 CFR requirements, and program policies.
