Samaritan Daytop Village, Inc. seeks a Peer Professional to deliver community-based recovery services in PARC Bronx/Queens and CORES programs.

You will perform outreach, advocacy, and develop sober social activities while documenting services in compliance with funding and regulatory requirements. You will conduct on-site and in-community sessions, using telehealth or in-person meetings to support participants in recovery plans, and provide CPST, PSR, FST, and Peer Support services.

Formación

• CRPA certification or CRPA-Provisional required.
• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Computer literacy including MS Office and EHR.
• Knowledge or lived experience with OUD/STUD.
• Willingness to travel within the catchment area and use public transit.
• Flexible schedule including some Saturdays/evenings.
• Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
• Experience with advocacy, outreach, and recovery supports.

Responsabilidades

• Support PARC Centers and CORES participants in recovery plan development.
• Meet participants regularly via telehealth or in-person to support goals.
• Complete GPRA intake and six-month follow-up.
• Produce thorough, timely documentation of interactions and services.
• Provide CPST, PSR, FST and Peer Support via telehealth/in home/community.
• Offer companionship and accompany participants to appointments.
• Implement outreach to attract partnerships, volunteers, and participants.
• Provide Naloxone training to participants and community members.
• Attend community meetings and relevant councils/committees.
