Job summary

MaineHealth is seeking a Peer Recovery Partner to deliver one-on-one support in the community, at clients’ homes, or at work locations. The role also includes group facilitation and helping individuals access wellness and recovery opportunities in their communities.

The position requires CIPSS or Recovery Coach training flexibility and a valid driver's license; prior peer-support experience is preferred. Proficiency with common computer tools is expected.

Qualifications

• Education: Some college coursework preferred.
• Licenses/ Certifications: CIPSS Certification or Recovery Coach training may be required within 9 months; valid driver’s license required.
• Experience: Experience providing one-on-one and/or group facilitation peer support preferred.
• Additional Skills/Requirements: Is in recovery and willing to self-identify; computer proficiency required.

Responsibilities

• Provide one-on-one support to people in the community, at their homes, or at the work location.
• Provide group facilitation and support people in connecting to wellness/recovery opportunities in their communities.
