Job summary

Ampact is seeking a Recovery Navigator to join Recovery Corps. This role focuses on providing support to individuals in recovery, helping them navigate resources, set goals, and develop recovery action plans. The ideal candidate will have at least one year in recovery and strong communication skills.

This position offers a full-time schedule of 40 hours per week with daytime hours, Monday through Friday. A stipend is provided every two weeks, and education awards are available. Part-time positions at 25 hours per week are also offered.

Qualifications

• In recovery for at least one uninterrupted year from a substance use disorder.
• Dependable with a history of good attendance.
• Able to understand and follow instructions.
• Able to set pace and maintain service schedule.
• Basic computer skills, including email and online navigation.
• Fluent in English for speaking, reading, and writing.
• 18 years of age or older.
• A citizen, national, or lawful permanent resident of the United States.
• Able to successfully complete a background check.

Responsibilities

• Foster strong relationships with participants.
• Provide mentoring and peer support.
• Connect participants with social service resources and programs.
• Track participant recovery plan progress.
