Job summary

Ampact is hiring Recovery Navigators to support individuals on their recovery journeys in Chicago. As a Recovery Corps member, you’ll use your own recovery experiences to provide guidance and support to others.

Your role will include connecting participants with resources and helping them set and achieve recovery goals. Full-time positions offer 40 hours of work per week, with flexible part-time options also available.

Qualifications

• Must be in recovery for at least one uninterrupted year from a substance use disorder.
• Able to follow instructions and set a service schedule.
• Must be a citizen, national, or lawful permanent resident of the U.S.

Responsibilities

• Foster strong relationships with participants.
• Provide mentoring and peer support based on recovery experience.
• Connect participants with relevant social service resources.
