Job summary

Recovery Corps is hiring Recovery Navigators to provide peer support to individuals in recovery. Training will prepare you to guide participants as they set goals and develop recovery action plans. You’ll work within the Recovery Corps program, under Ampact, in Minnesota.

Responsibilities include building relationships, mentoring peers, connecting to social services, and tracking progress. The role offers training, a structured schedule, and health benefits through AmeriCorps.

Qualifications

• Be in recovery for at least one uninterrupted year from a substance use disorder.
• Dependable with a history of good attendance.
• Able to follow instructions and maintain a schedule.
• Able to meet the agreed hours commitment.

Responsibilities

• Foster strong relationships with participants.
• Lean on personal recovery experience to mentor peers.
• Connect participants with social services and programs.
• Track progress of recovery plans.
• Participate in training and professional development yearly.
• Share experiences with the community.
