Job summary

Rimrock Trails is hiring an ARC Peer Support Specialist to join the Outpatient team. You will support engagement, coordination, and follow-up for clients initiating services at the Crook County ARC, coordinating with the ARC Lead and Care Coordinator.

This role emphasizes navigation, referrals, and warm handoffs to promote recovery. The position requires counseling in brief interventions, group and individual outreach, and collaboration with community services to reduce barriers like

Qualifications

• General knowledge of local behavioral health, substance abuse, and social services systems.
• Ability to promote resiliency, empowerment, and recovery through peer support.
• Must have a valid Oregon driver’s license or ability to obtain one.

Responsibilities

• Welcome and assess youth and families, coordinate referrals and follow-ups.
• Provide brief interventions and coordinate 120+ days of care follow-up.
• Support navigation, linkage to services, and community outreach/harm reduction.
