Job summary

The Las Vegas Rescue Mission seeks a Medication Management Specialist to oversee day-to-day adult medications and medical needs in its Recovery program in Las Vegas. The role includes coordinating MAT care, interfacing with pharmacies, and leading medication education groups.

Responsibilities include ensuring safe storage and administration of meds, maintaining records, and collaborating with the Clinical Director to tailor patient care. 40 hours per week with competitive benefits.

Qualifications

• Current First Aid and/or CPR certification.
• Strong organizational and time management skills.
• Understanding of Medication Assisted Treatment (MAT) services.
• Working knowledge of MS Word, MS Excel, MS Outlook, MS Publisher, and Adobe Acrobat.
• Must possess a valid Medication Technician or Pharmacy Technician certification.

Responsibilities

• Facilitate groups focused on medication management, MAT, or related psychoeducation.
• Store, distribute, and discontinue residents’ medications with proper records.
• Collaborate with Recovery Program Supervisor and Clinical Director to identify client needs.
• Ensure medication compliance and report non-compliance.
• Receive medications from the pharmacy and audit MAR for transcription accuracy.
• Inventory MARs and Medications with emphasis on MAT.
