Job summary

Arundel Lodge, Inc. is seeking a Rehabilitation Specialist for the Bay Ridge Program to support recovery for individuals facing mental health and substance use challenges. The role includes transportation, life-skills coaching, and daily living support.

The position runs Monday to Friday, 6am-2pm, with rotating weekends, and offers a competitive hourly wage of $18.00. A valid driver’s license is required, with a preference for a BA in a human services field.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Bachelor of Arts in a human services field preferred.
• Minimum of one year of experience in mental health or psychosocial rehabilitation.
• Valid driver’s license with an acceptable driving record.

Responsibilities

• Provide transportation for clients as needed.
• Assist with money management, appointment scheduling, and dietary coaching.
• Support daily living activities (ADLs) and teach essential life skills.
• Facilitate shopping and cleaning tasks to promote independence.
• Engage clients in their recovery process and offer compassionate support.
• Ensure the safety and presence of each client throughout shift.
