Job summary

Lighthouse Behavioral Health Solutions in Columbus, Ohio, is seeking a Recovery Housing Support Specialist (RHSS) to provide vital housing and case-management support to residents in recovery. The RHSS works with clinical staff and families to ensure a safe, respectful recovery experience, balancing housing duties with case-management responsibilities, and covering shifts as needed.

This role offers a collaborative environment with training opportunities and exposure to ORH programs;

Qualifications

• Minimum of 1 year experience in behavioral health, recovery housing or related field.
• Minimum high school diploma/G.E.D.
• Knowledge of Electronic Health Records system preferred.
• Must pass BCI check, all Corporate Compliance checks, and employment drug screen.
• Valid driver’s license, proof of auto insurance, and access to a reliable personal vehicle.
• Age 25 years or older.

Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate, non-judgmental support to residents and maintain a safe housing environment.
• Daily check-ins, adherence to house rules, and occasional overnight/weekend shifts.
• Assist residents with accessing medical, social, educational, vocational, recreational, and housing services.
• Complete documentation accurately and in a timely manner per LRH policies and payor requirements.
• Communicate daily shift notes to the Housing Supervisor and participate in community activities.
