Definition
The Recovery House Technician is responsible for providing safety and support services to residents of Renewal, Inc.’s sober living environment. This individual will monitor resident activity and behavior, enforce recovery house program guidelines and house rules, conduct regular security patrols of the facility, conduct property searches of newly arriving residents, collect and test resident urinalysis samples, and work closely with recovery housing staff to address resident needs. This individual will work collectively with other recovery housing and Renewal, Inc. staff to provide a recovery-focused atmosphere conducive to long-term recovery.

Education and/or Experience
This individual must possess excellent written and verbal communications skills and must possess a high level of personal ethical standards. Proven skills in problem solving as well as research and computer skills necessary.
Minimum of a High School diploma or GED equivalency and 1 year related experience required. An Associate’s Degree in Criminal Justice, Social Work, Psychology, Counseling is preferred. Experience working in a recovery housing setting preferred. Valid Pennsylvania driver’s license and PA Act 33/Act 34 clearance required.
