Job summary

Rosecrance, Inc. Champaign-Moreland is seeking a dedicated staff member to directly supervise clients and support the delivery of treatment services in a safe, therapeutic setting.

You will work as part of a team to facilitate recovery and maintain high standards of care. You will coordinate with colleagues to implement activities, document care in the electronic health record, and help residents develop independent living skills while upholding regulatory requirements.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED is required.
• Must qualify as an RSA per Illinois DMH Rule 132.
• Skilled in behavioral management techniques.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills.
• Ability to quickly establish rapport with clients.
• Computer proficiency and EHR documentation skills.
• Ability to navigate and complete documentation in the EHR.
• Ability to accurately complete required documentation within time frames.
• Valid driver’s license and ability to meet Agency insurance requirements.
• Belief in the mission and values of Rosecrance.

Responsibilities

• Directly supervise clients and participate as a team member in delivery of treatment services.
• Facilitate issues of recovery into daily living situations and ensure ethical, legal, and safe practice.
• Supervise and manage resident behavior, provide appropriate interventions and consequences.
• Implement therapeutic activities and support development of independent living skills.
• Develop and present resident education and coordinate daily therapeutic direction.
• Attend staff meetings and contribute to treatment plans and shift plans.
• Maintain client service records in compliance with regulations.
• Monitor self-administration of medicine by residents if designated.
• Oversee cleanliness of the house and proper use of equipment and supplies.
• Deliver exceptional customer service and represent Rosecrance positively.

Position Purpose:

Directly supervise clients. • Supervise and manage the behavior of the residents and provide appropriate behavioral interventions and consequences.
• Implement therapeutic activities and facilitate development of independent living skills.
• Responsible for developing and presenting all resident education.
• Consult with other staff members and plan daily therapeutic direction for designated shift.
• May facilitate focal group discussion sessions.
• Attend all scheduled meetings of staff, such as treatment plan reviews, shift meetings or appropriate committee meetings as designated.
• Ensure that client service records are maintained consistent with regulations.
• If designated, monitor self-administration of medicine by residents and record information on medical log.
• Oversee the cleanliness of the house, resident house jobs, and the proper use of equipment and supplies.
• Serve as a member of the assigned team and participate in all team meetings and activities.
• Exercise confidentiality in keeping with the Code of Conduct and with the framework of the law.
• Deliver exceptional customer service consistently to every customer.
• Serve as a role model for other staff, clients and customers and demonstrate positive guest relations in representing Rosecrance

Schedule: Tuesday through Saturday 830a-5pm

• Starting Pay (based on education, experience, and credentials)
  • HS/GED - $18.43 per hour
  • Associate’s - $19.37 per hour
  • Bachelor’s - $20.25 per hour
