Job summary

The ideal candidate holds a Master’s in a relevant field, with at least two years of group facilitation experience and knowledge of evidence-based modalities; Spanish/English bilingualism is a plus.

Qualifications

• Master's Degree in a relevant field (Counseling, Social Work, Psychology, or MFT) is required.
• Minimum of 2 years of clinical experience running therapeutic groups in detox/short-term residential settings.
• Experience with evidence-based modalities (CBT, DBT, relapse prevention).
• Experience with medical detox protocols and early withdrawal challenges.
• Proficiency with the KIPU EMR system.

Responsibilities

• Design, prepare, and facilitate daily therapeutic, psychoeducational, and process groups.
• Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation of group sessions, attendance, participation, and progress notes.
• Manage group dynamics to ensure a safe, respectful, and therapeutic environment.
• Collaborate with the clinical and medical team to ensure a unified approach to client care.
• Maintain professional boundaries and ethical standards in all interactions.
