Job summary

Avenues Recovery Center in South Bend, IN is hiring Group Facilitators for our Detox and Residential treatment facility. You will lead group therapy, support clients in building coping skills, and collaborate with clinical staff to monitor progress.

Ideal candidates hold a Bachelor's in psychology or related field, with at least one year in treatment, and IN licensure. In recovery, a year sobriety is required. We value empathy, integrity, and clear documentation.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in psychology, counseling, or related field.
• Min. one year experience in treatment industry preferred.
• Valid licensure necessary to practice as a clinician in this state (Indiana).
• If in recovery, a minimum one-year sobriety period is required.

Responsibilities

• Conduct group therapy, psychoeducation, and process groups.
• Assist clients in developing healthy coping skills and recovery tools.
• Collaborate with clinical staff to monitor client progress.
• Escalate significant client concerns to Clinical Director.
• Maintain thorough documentation of all group sessions.
• Ensure all clinical assessments and charting are completed.
