Job summary

Pine Belt Mental Healthcare Resources is seeking an Individual Resiliency Trainer (IRT) Clinician to service Harrison, Hancock, Stone, and Pearl River counties. This is a full-time position, Monday through Friday, 8am-5pm with some night/weekends for community outreach or on-call rotation.

The IRT Clinician is a master’s-level clinician focused on recovery goals, learning about psychosis, and developing coping skills for stress and persistent symptoms.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in behavioral healthcare required.
• Four (4) years' behavioral healthcare experience preferred; supervisory experience preferred
• Certification required within 90 days of hire by MDMH and MDOM
• Must possess a valid Mississippi Driver's License with a satisfactory driving record
• Reliable transportation needed for work in the community
• Excellent communications skills in both written and verbal settings
• Independent work ability and time management skills
• Knowledge of or readiness to learn strength oriented wrap-around service model

Responsibilities

• Provide Individual Resiliency Training (IRT) services to individuals weekly for approximately 6–12 months, followed by monthly check-ins as needed.
• Address clients’ goals, educate about psychosis, and teach coping strategies for stress and persistent symptoms.
• Attend overview and team trainings, IRT training, medication training, and weekly team meetings.
