Job summary

Discovery Behavioral Health in Beverly Hills, CA is seeking a Registered Dietitian Nutritionist (RDN) to join a compassionate, multidisciplinary team. You will guide nutritional healing as part of whole-person care and collaborate with physicians and psychiatrists to support medical and psychological recovery.

Under supervision of a licensed RDN, you will implement evidence-based care, lead dietary groups, and contribute to program operations while upholding safety and dignity for patients

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in ACEND-approved program for Dietetics (DPD)
• Completion of Dietetic Internship
• CDR credential and state licensure where applicable
• One year of dietary services experience preferred
• CPI certification within 90 days of hire
• CPR/AED/First Aid and ServSafe certifications within specified timelines
• Current driver’s license in good standing

Responsibilities

• Deliver individualized nutrition care by assessing medical data and dietary needs to support medical stability and recovery.
• Communicate weekly treatment goals across the interdisciplinary team.
• Lead dietary groups promoting skill-building and behavior change.
• Provide meal support and milieu interventions reinforcing recovery.
• Collaborate with physicians and psychiatrists on nutritional interventions.
• Coordinate with families and outpatient providers for smooth transitions across care phases.
• Support food service operations, including inventory, procurement, and budgeting.
• Supervise Diet Technicians and maintain timely clinical documentation.
• Contribute to program growth through outreach and staff training.
• Participate in required trainings and ongoing professional development.

Education

Bachelor’s Degree in ACEND DP or equivalent

Completion of Dietetic Internship

CDR License and state license where applicable

One year of experience preferred in dietary services

CPI certification within 90 days of hire

CPR, AED, and First Aid certification within 30 days of hire

ServSafe certification

Valid Driver’s License
