Job summary

Greater Nashua Mental Health in Nashua, NH is seeking a full-time Peer Support Specialist for the FEP team. You will build trusting relationships with clients, mentor them, and help advocate for themselves through personal recovery experiences.

You will support engagement, collaborate with HOPE/FEP team members, and participate in community outreach to promote First Episode Psychosis services and referral generation.

Qualifications

• HS diploma or GED required.
• 1–2 years related work experience.
• Valid driver’s license and automobile insurance as required by agency policy.

Responsibilities

• Engage clients and maintain connection throughout treatment, including outreach.
• Develop therapeutic relationships with clients and families to support recovery goals.
• Explain program structure and role of peer support to new referrals.
• Provide community- and home-based support and accompany clients to school, work, and wellness activities.
• Co-facilitate peer-led groups promoting connection and resilience.
