The ideal candidate has lived experience, holds a Kentucky Adult Peer Support Specialist Certification (or willing to maintain certification), and can participate in a flexible schedule including occasional weekends. A valid driver’s license is required.

Qualifications

• Experience providing peer support to clients with serious mental illness.
• Must have lived experience of mental illness and willingness to share it.
• Passion for recovery, empathy, and helping people with disabilities.

Responsibilities

• Provide peer counseling and life skills coaching.
• Assist with illness management and community navigation for clients.
• Support attendance at 12-step meetings and connect clients to resources.
