Seven Counties Services is seeking a Peer Support Specialist to join the client’s treatment team in Louisville, KY. You will help develop recovery plans, participate in treatment planning, and connect clients with essential resources and self-help strategies.

The role involves coordinating with case management, maintaining accurate records, and providing advocacy to clients while adhering to safety and quality standards. Full-time position with on-site responsibilities.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required with ongoing professional development.
• Certified Adult Peer Support Specialist per Kentucky BHDID.
• Active temporary registration with KY Alcohol and Drug Counselor’s Board.
• Maintain continuing education and training records to stay certified.
• Demonstrated recovery experience and ability to support others.

Responsibilities

• Participate in client treatment teams and planning meetings.
• Assist clients in developing recovery plans and crisis plans.
• Provide recovery education and connect to resources.
• Coordinate recovery plans with case management and record progress.
• Maintain accurate client records and advocate for clients.
