Job summary

Qualifications

• High School Graduate or GED, upon hire and
• Must have experience with own personal mental health challenges.
• Preferred: Experience as a Peer Support Specialist or working in a Psychiatric or Human Services setting

Responsibilities

• Engage with individuals through active listening and sharing recovery strategies.
• Provide guidance to help individuals set and achieve personal goals using lived experience.
• Maintain confidentiality, uphold rights and dignity of individuals served.
• Advocate for recovery-based services and empower self-advocacy and stigma reduction.
• Promote community integration and least restrictive environments for clients.
