Job summary

Integral Care in Austin, TX is seeking a Peer Specialist to support clients facing mental and physical health and substance use challenges at a site-based Permanent Supportive Housing program.

The PS shares lived experience to inspire recovery, provide education, advocacy, and outreach, and works with a treatment team to promote whole-health goals. This is a full-time position requiring Texas residency, a high school diploma or GED, and a valid driver's license.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED is required.
• Current and valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
• Reside in Texas to qualify for the role.

Responsibilities

• Assist clients in achieving desired life outcomes in a site-based PSH setting.
• Provide individual or group services including recovery strategies, self-help, and advocacy.
• Collaborate with a treatment team to support clients' whole-health goals.
