Job summary

Pacific Clinics is seeking staff to locate and place adults in volunteer work experiences and help them transition to competitive employment in the community. The role covers assessment of work readiness, barrier identification, and collaboration with therapists, case managers, and employers to build effective employment plans.

The position requires willingness to conduct job coaching, resume help, interview training, and documentation, with a strong emphasis on timely reporting and program

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED and two or more years of experience in employment services for individuals with mental/behavioral health conditions.
• Certificate in the Mental Health Worker Course.

Responsibilities

• Engages consumers and assesses consumers' work readiness.
• Assists consumers with barriers to employment in the community.
• Maintains listing of job opportunities and relationships with prospective employers.
• Keeps program staff informed about consumer performance and needs.
• Documents in progress notes consumer activity, communication, participation and concerns.
• Generates monthly reports on consumer activity and issues.
