Job summary

Quinault Wellness Center in Aberdeen, WA is seeking a Community Cultural Activities Coordinator to plan and implement culturally responsive programs that support recovery, wellness, and a sense of belonging. You will work with clinical and behavioral health colleagues to integrate cultural experiences into recovery

Qualifications

• Associate degree in in Human Services, Recreation, Community Health, Social Services, Education, Native Studies, Cultural Studies, Public Health, or related field; relevant experience may replace education.
• Minimum of two years coordinating community programs, cultural events, or recovery services.
• Experience developing community partnerships with Tribal governments or community stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate cultural celebrations, educational workshops, recreational activities, and culturally focused recovery groups with clinical professionals.
• Develop an annual calendar of activities and identify opportunities for community collaboration.
• Seek guest presenters, volunteers, donations, and potential grants to support programming.
• Promote Quinault culture and inclusive programming for diverse backgrounds.
• Collaborate with clinical teams and community partners to integrate cultural experiences into recovery programming.
