Job summary

Gosnold, Inc. provides a full spectrum of care for mental health and substance use disorders with over 50 years of service.

The Counselor will assess patients, determine level of care, risks, and strengths, promoting recovery through respectful interactions and evidence-based practices. The role offers pay ranges based on licensure and education, with hourly rates from $24 to $30 and a Sat/Sun differential.

Qualifications

• Education: Minimum of High School Diploma or Equivalent.
• Experience: Minimum of one year supervised counseling experience in substance use disorder treatment or closely related field; Bachelor's degree may substitute for experience.
• Skills: Excellent customer service, verbal and written communication; computer literacy.

Responsibilities

• Participate in development, implementation, and modification of treatment plans and continuing care plans.
• Complete required documentation per Gosnold policy and regulatory standards.
• Provide individual and group counseling and psycho-educational sessions.
• Coordinate care with other professionals and/or family.
• Abide by Gosnold code of ethics including confidentiality and dual relationships.
• Engage in continuing education for certification requirements.
• Develop documentation, assessment, case management, and treatment planning skills.
